Invest a few moments of your time to discover how you might benefit from being an active player on our team. The game is life. The goal is to travel the road of life together on the way to forever. “T.E.A.M" - Together Everyone Achieves More!

Meet "Pastor Ski"

I have been leading this congregation for nearly twenty years.“Pastor Ski” is how I like to be addressed. My given name is Leo Jaloszynski. I am a work in progress! God began His work in me, the oldest of six children, on a dairy farm. “Family” was imminently important to us all then and remains important to me. Like God, I believe that great families remain God’s primary work. Strong families are the sanctuaries in which a child grows and matures. Family and home are the unique places where a child can discover the love and significance planned for him or her by their Creator.

At the age of fourteen, I left home to become a Catholic priest. In my third year of college, however, I decided to “find my true calling” by joining the Marines and going to Viet Nam. The madness of war deepened my trust in God’s desire for humanity to live in peace, at peace with ourselves, with one another, and with our Creator.

The G.I. bill helped me complete my college degree with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business. I joined the business world in search of “success.” Fourteen years of electric utility work, work as a frozen food manager, and selling insurance gave me experience in the corporate world and workplace.

At the age of forty, I finally came back to my true calling to pastor God's sheep. A Master’s Degree from the Austin, Texas, Seminary brought me the honored privilege of serving as Pastor of Circleville Church.

Circleville Church Pastor SkiMy wife, Barbara, and I have been nurturing our marriage for thirty-six years. We have been blessed with two boys and a daughter, whom we adopted at the age of one month. They are all married now and have blessed us with six wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy sports and music. Our boys still tolerate my “basketball” game, and “American Idol” helps keep me in touch with “tunes.”

A Pastor is called to lead God’s children into a growing relationship with their Creator. Leaders are also readers. Besides the Bible, a book that has influenced me greatly is Good to Great. God’s desire for us is to broaden our resources for being "good." The Bible, God’s directions for “great” living, remains the primary textbook for learning how to live a great life on earth and beyond. God still speaks to anyone willing to listen to His instructions.

What is Circleville Church about?

Circleville Church, Intergenerational christian communityWe are an intergenerational Christian community sharing a journey that never ends. We encourage one another to live fulfilling lives as Jesus gives us the unique power to do. We strive to please God by trusting in Him in all we do and say.

Each Sunday we gather in a sacred space we call the Sanctuary. There, we celebrate God’s purpose for the human race. This celebration centers on singing together songs of praise to our Spiritual Father, learning and remembering the promises of Jesus, and growing in our ability to love deeply.

Messages inspired by the Holy Spirit remind us that we are in a war to rescue hearts from the destructive forces of real evil. This evil lives within us and outside of us. It pursues us spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Its goal is to keep us from believing that living “good” lives is the ultimate prize, when God’s Words reveal that we are destined for “greatness.”
