Circleville Church Adult Church Groups
Women's Bible Studies
What does it mean to be spiritually alive? More specifically, what does it mean to walk in spiritual strength on a consistent basis, as a woman? Our Women’s Bible Study groups explore issues like this while studying the Bible. On a weekly basis, several groups meet to study God’s Word and to lift each other up in prayer.
One group also works together on a monthly Senior Citizen Luncheon held the third Wednesday of each month, April through December (No luncheons during the winter months of January to March). Contact the church office, 845-361-2381, for more information.
Serendipity Singles
“Everyone longs to give themselves completely to someone -- to have a deep soul relationship with another, to be loved thoroughly and exclusively. But God says, ‘Not until you are satisfied and fulfilled and content with being loved by Me alone. I love you My child and until you discover that only in Me is your satisfaction to be found, you will not be capable of the perfect relationship that I have planned for you.” http://www.afn.org/~afn32390/single.html
Singlehood, no matter what age, or for whatever reason, in God’s Eyes, means you possess great value and significance. At Circleville Church, we embrace singles as part of the Church family, and warmly welcome individuals to the daily life of our faith community.
So join our Serendipity Singles Group on Tuesdays, 7pm 9pm. The group discussions are open-ended, but we also host divorced and widowed support groups. Contact the church office, 845-361-2381, for more information.
Young Marrieds
A small group of young marrieds meets weekly to encourage one another in parenting and strengthening their marriages through Biblical principles. This group meets at the Pastor's home on Tuesday evenings at 7pm from September to June each year. This study is led by the young couples themselves. Topics of study apply Biblical teaching to everyday living challenges. Contact the church office, 845-361-2381, for more information.
Adult Sunday School
Usually two classes meet on Sunday morning before Worship from September to June. Classes focus on one book of the Bible and its message for today. There is also a focus on a variety of subjects, such as “Financial Peace University,” by Dave Ramsey; "Wild at Heart," “Just for Men; worldviews, and God's truth. Subjects may change quarterly. Contact the church office, 845-361-2381, for more information.
